Rotary Club's special visitor
Santa’s band of happy helpers was joined by members of the LiFT team when he headed into Ewell ahead of his busiest day with the local Rotary Club members.
The charity organisation was collecting on behalf of PHAB, one of this year’s charities chosen by the Rotary Club, and the extra pairs of hands were more than welcome during Santa’s visits.
Ewell Rotary Club members tour the area over several nights in the run-up to Christmas, raising money for a different charity along the way.
Epsom and Ewell Phab club provides inclusive activities for young people, both with or without disabilities. Activities arranged include sports, arts, crafts, games, drama, dance and music on Friday club evening.
The charity is one of three being supported this year by Epsom and Ewell Mayor John Beckett, who took up his role in May.
