Interim Deputy CEO

As the process of merger with The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) builds momentum, the trustees of the LIFT Partnership are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Emma Slaughter as Interim Deputy CEO.

Emma has an extensive academic background focusing on special school educational provision, and has had experience working with a variety of different local authorities across the country. She will working alongside interim CEO, focusing on school improvement, freeing up Louise to handle LIFT’s COVID-19 response, and also to deal with the merger process over the coming months.

“I am pleased to be part of shaping the ‘new normal’ with the rest of the LIFT and THPT team, as we move forward to these unchartered territories; an opportunity to create a new modern and innovative picture of education for our students,” said Emma.

She will be out and about at the schools very soon, so if you meet her, be sure to say hello and to welcome her to the team. I am sure she will make a valuable contribution from which we will all benefit, at this exciting and ground-breaking time for the LIFT Partnership and everyone associated with it.
